Mark Antonious
Physiotherapist - Co-Owner
Mark is a registered physiotherapist who completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics (B.Sc. HK) and Ottawa University, and his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (M.PT) at Queen’s University.
He started his journey through physiotherapy as a physiotherapy assistant out of high school and continued to work during his University period as an assistant, kinesiologist, and clinic admin at multiple locations across our company. He graduated from Queen’s in 2011 in Kingston.
Mark’s treatment style combines manual therapy with mobilizations of joints, soft tissue and myofascial releases, and exercise therapy. He treats all forms of injures such as overuse, postural, chronic, and acute. Mark has a background in Movement Diagnosis Therapy (MDT from the McKenzie Institute) and has completed levels A-D for advanced cervical, lumbar, thoracic spine, upper and lower extremity assessment and treatment techniques, along with the E level for advanced practitioner techniques. This allows him to find the sources of pains instead of symptom-based diagnosis and treatments. He also treats TMJ, Dizziness and vestibular disorders, and concussions.
He is also certified to perform acupuncture and dry needling. Mark also has 15+ years of experience with custom and off the shelf bracing, compressions socks and therapy, along with custom orthotics and percussion massagers.
In his free time, Mark enjoys his family and enjoys activities that challenge his problem-solving skills such as fixing different mediums from electronics to houses and renovations. Enjoys activities such as wakeboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and is currently on his journey through the ranks of karate.

Maria Kristina Antonious
Physiotherapist - Co-Owner
My journey into physiotherapy began with a desire to help people reduce their pain, move better, and return to the activities they love. After starting as a physiotherapy assistant in 2000, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and a Master of Physical Therapy, graduating from Queen’s University in 2010.
For more than 15 years, I have worked with people of different ages, abilities, and activity levels. My experience includes musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, TMJ dysfunction, chronic pain, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
My own experience living with an autoimmune condition has also shaped the way I practise. I understand how frustrating it can be when each symptom is treated separately without anyone stepping back to look at the full picture. It taught me to look beyond the painful area and consider the whole person.
My approach blends evidence-based Western rehabilitation with principles inspired by Eastern wellness practices. Along with hands-on treatment, individualized exercise, and modern rehabilitation tools, I consider how movement, posture, breathing, sleep, and stress may affect pain and recovery. When appropriate, I also use strategies that help calm and regulate the nervous system.
My advanced training includes manipulative therapy, functional dry needling, acupuncture, the McKenzie Method, TMJ rehabilitation, core stabilization, shockwave therapy, vagus nerve regulation strategies, and exercise-form coaching.
My goal is to help every person better understand their body, feel confident moving again, and achieve lasting progress. For me, listening is where good care begins.
